
Christopher Horsey
Christopher Horsey choreographed Adam Garcia’s performance on Got To Dance in London 2010/11 and most recently created and choreographed a brand new tap show ‘Soundz Extraordinary’ for Northern Tap Co in Yorkshire, UK.
He co-founded Tap Dogs (for which he won a Village Voice OBIE Award for his performance at Union Square Theatre, New York) and stars as Angus in Bootmen (Fox Searchlight Pictures).
Chris is the winner of the Fred Astaire International Tap & Jazz Championship, Waldorf Astoria, New York City. Since then he has performed in the Frank Sinatra Concert (Sanctuary Cove) and Quincy Jones - 'The First Fifty Years' alongside Stevie Wonder (Pasadena, Los Angeles).
Original cast member of Hot Shoe Shuffle (Aust, NZ, Japan, Queens Theatre - London), Chicago – The Musical (IMG), Singin In The Rain (DAE/IMG), Chris also played Big Deal in West Side Story (VSO/IMG), Andy Lee in 42nd St and Lank Hawkins in Crazy For You (The Production Company), Gieber Goldfarb in Girl Crazy & David in Seesaw (Neglected Musicals) and choreographed High Society and Sugar ‘Some Like It Hot’ for TPC.
He presents Arts Friday on Eastside Radio 89.7fm from 10.30am in Sydney and his website is tapworks.com.au
