Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
The timetable, class information and faculty is subject to change.
The Edge Ballet Academy reserves the right to change or modify the timetable or cancel a class at any time. If payment has already been made for the cancelled class then a refund will be given only upon request.
All fees must be paid in full by Week 4 of each term unless prior arrangements with the director have been made. No refunds will be given due to missed classes.
In case of injury for more than 3 weeks a refund will be given upon request if a Doctors certificate is supplied.
If you are going away on holidays for more than 3 weeks and notify us in advance, a refund wll be given upon request.
If a payment is more than 4 weeks late a 20% late fee will be applied. The student will NOT be allowed to continue dancing and will automatically be unenrolled and their place given to anyone on the waiting list.
The Edge Ballet Students are expected to wear correct uniform and appropriate footwear for each class at all times.
Students will refrain from using any inappropriate language in class.
All students will represent The Edge Ballet Academy in a professional manner at all times.
All skills, learning and training is based on the appropriate age and physical ability of the student.
The Edge Ballet Academy asks students to ensure they follow safe dance practice instruction given by their dance teacher at all times to avoid injury.
Waiver of injury: I, the undersigned, do hereby voluntarily submit my child and/or myself for attendance and participation in The Edge Balley Academy dance and other programs, and do hereby assume full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries or losses that he/she/I may sustain or incur in anyway while attending or participating in any Edge Ballet Academy classes or activities both in and away from the studio. I, the undersigned, do hereby waive all claims against the instructors, owners and/or operators, individually or otherwise, of The Edge Ballet Academy for any injuries he/she/I may sustain while attending or participating in said programs. I fully understand that any medical treatment given to my child or myself will be for first aid only, but I give emergency treatment authorization if I cannot be reached and if the situation calls for it I give permission for an ambulance to be called. This form can be photocopied for emergency treatment.
Additionally, I have read and understood The Edge Ballet Academy code of conduct, general regulations and tuition formed outlined below:
I recognize that the teachers/staff/parents/guardians of The Edge Ballet Academy are not responsible for my child outside of the classroom, it is understood that there not 100% supervision for students at all times outside of the classroom and I am aware of all inherent risks in leaving my child unattended/supervised at the studio.
I assume all of the risks of leaving personal belongings unattended in the studio. It is understood that the studio runs on an all care and no responsibility system in overseeing personal belongings left unattended.
I agree by enrolling at The Edge Ballet Academy that any photographs, audio or video recording taken in the course of classes or performances which include myself or my child, remain the property of The Edge Ballet Academy and may be published for advertising and/or media purposes.
The staff at Edge Ballet Academy reserves the right to refuse or suspend any enrolment due to misconduct.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND IT'S CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL
